As part of the commemoration of the IYCS Africa Day 2018; IYCS Africa organized a public forum on June 22nd at Ouaga 1 University, Professor Joseph Ki-Zerbo in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso on the following theme: Democracy , Governance and Peace in Africa: The Role of Young people in building a New Africa?
The main goal of this forum is to promote the engagement and inclusive participation of young people in building a new Africa.
The participants in this forum were: students and students, Ycser’s, students’ movements and associations of Ouaga University1 and others youth organizations.
During her stay in Burkina Faso, IYCS Africa coordinator use the opportunity to meet with the YCS/Burkina national team and former members in other to get updates of the movement activity in Burkina.
Also she visited YCS/Niger where she met with YCSer’s, former members and the archbishop of Niamey: Bishop Laurent LOMPO.
