The International Coordination Meeting of Youth Organizations (IMCYO) and MGCY Major Group for Children and youth Partnered with The Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (OHRLLS) to facilitate consultations with youths In the 46 leading to the 5th UN Least Developed Countries Conference (LDC) Youth Declaration.

The declaration named ‘For All Generations’ highlights the need for greater investment in young people in LDCs. It also calls for increased participation of young people in decision-making processes and the inclusion of their perspectives in the development of policies and programs that affect them. For All Generations is an advocacy tool used to bring the voices of the youths into the new Program of Action for the LDCs, The Doha Program of Action DOPoA. IYCS representative in the ICMYO task force, Benson Makusha was spearheading the process and presented the final declaration to the Director of the UN-OHRLLS during the Intergenerational dialogue of the LDC 5 conference which was held from the 5th- 9th March In Doha, Qatar.
